Importance: High

Please thoroughly review the below information, specifically those details in bold red.

What’s happening Tuesday March 25th 2013 3am-10am – VisiNet System Maintenance
CTECC Support will perform our usual critical VisiNet System monthly maintenance from 03:00-08:00; and additional VisiNET Browser data source maintenance will occur from 8:00-10:00.

How does this affect users?
Ø At 04:00, CTECC Support will begin taking VisiNet interfaces offline. Interface services (ANI/ALI, RMS interfaces, Recall, Records Check, Driving Directions, VisiNet Browser, Remote Rostering, Unit Swap, and AlertLine) should be considered unavailable beginning at 04:00 and for the duration of the maintenance window.
Ø Beginning at 04:30, CTECC support will take CAD offline for maintenance including critical Windows updates and SQL Server maintenance.
Ø After the maintenance is complete, agencies may log back in to the Production VisiNet system. Interfaces will be brought back online over the next hour as coordinated with the agency representatives for this event.
Ø Except where stated below, the remainder of this event will be for system maintenance that does not affect system usability.
Ø Additional VisiNET Browser “data source” maintenance will occur from 8:00-10:00. All other CAD services will remain online during the VisiNET Browser maintenance, however the Production CAD queues will occasionally “flash” as the configuration is modified(possibly as few as one or two flashes).

What’s required of me?
Ø Notify affected users
Ø Implement your agency’s scheduled CAD maintenance business continuity plan.
Ø Identify a point of contact for your agency; include their telephone number.

How do I get technical support?
If you have any questions, please contact the CTM Support Desk at 512-974-4357.
Event Communications will be on D1 AT OP 14.
