    MDC users may have noticed that the AVLA function is currently placing them in AVCL status. This is functioning as intended.  AVLA status from the MDC has been determined to be the root cause of multiple CAD malfunctions.  AVCL assigns units based off the unit GPS data, if functioning, and last known location (last call address OR station address) if it is not. This is a temporary 'fix' until TRITEC can find and correct the bug with AVLA, at which point Fire Communications Staff will enable AVLA.  No action or change in behavior is required of the user in the field. Please do not contact Dispatch about this discrepancy.

When we leave the station, AVLA is no longer working for us when go available local area. Only AVCL works. Has this become and issue with the recent upgrade?
