Wildfire folks,
The National Fire Danger Rating for Austin/Travis county today is split along I35 with our west in Very High and the eastern part coming in at High rating. A Red Flag warning has been issued along and west of I35 from 1100 till 2100. Winds will gust
up to 20 with RHs in the low teens.

While our fine fuels have been greening up due to night time RH recoveries, our medium and heavy fuels are pretty dry due to the lack of rain. We are now on track to be a dryer spring than 2011 (second lowest on record so far). The cedars fuel moistures
are now at a point in which they can burn under the right conditions.
