This is our day for regular Windows updates and maintenance on CAD. In addition, some server and network changes will be made by TriTech; this is the reason for the 10 am start time. This is to resolve a couple of outstanding issue from our server failure a few weeks ago. If this update and maintenance are completed in the time frame expected the following items will be upgraded on the same date. If we run into trouble and the maintenance window is extended into the afternoon we will likely cancel the additional upgrades and reschedule for June 20th. In addition to the following items, Locution, Auto Dispatch, Mobiles, Paging will be affected. RMS records will be delayed until calls can be entered into Production CAD and pushed to RMS expect a 24 to 48 hour delay.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoListParagraph style='text-indent:-.25in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo2'><![if !supportLists]><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><span style='mso-list:Ignore'>4.<span style='font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"'> </span></span></span><![endif]><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Records Check, Proxy</span></b><span style='font-size:12.0pt'> – primary impact is to PD and Arson Investigators. This update will fix the ECT screen not updating as new comments are entered. There are 3 other updates in this version which impact PD more than fire.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>On June 24<sup>th</sup> our last update will be scheduled which will be to upgrade the mobile server for fire. All MDC functions will be off line and all status will be by radio. No other CAD functions or alerting issues are expected.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Due to a problem with the update yesterday, CAD printing which affects the print out that stations receive when a unit is assigned to a call will be rescheduled for June 24<sup>th</sup> most likely. This has no real impact on any dispatching or response functions.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>This is a pretty full schedule the next week or two. We are pushing hard to so that we can be ready for the next major CAD upgrade (no date scheduled yet).
