Please be advised – Emergency Work to be performed tonight on the Avaya Phone system – approximately 4,000 numbers (see list of customers below) will be blocked from inbound calls while the work is being performed.
What’s Happening – Avaya Cabinet reset at OTC Monday December 10, 2018 @ 8:00 PM
The NIO SIP team will be resetting the Avaya Cabinet at OTC starting at 8:00PM on Monday December 10, 2018.
How does this affect users?
While this work is being done, it will only impactInbound calling to some city phone numbers for ten minutes. Internal and External calling and transferswill not be impacted
Numbers impacted:
Real Time Crime Center
Flood Hotline s
Fleet Emergency line
All Fire Stations
All AFD Battalion Chief lines
All EMS Stations
All EMS District Commander lines
PARD sites
Library branches
There are also several City Hall main numbers including the City Manager’s main line and a number of departmental main numbers included in the group.
Why are we doing this?
To resolve issue with media processor creating static for dial tone.
What’s required of me?
Nothing during the maintenance window.
