[Dispatch] **** CLARIFICATION FOR TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS

Dispatch has been fielding multiple inquiries on the these calls. I will attempt to clarify the process but if you have additional questions my contact info is below.


1.     Respond on MEDCOM for Traffic Accidents, Traffic Injuries, Rollovers.



2.     Expect AEMS to respond to your call until they advise on the Radio that they are not responding AND you get the following message on your MDC: >>>EMS NOT RESPONDING - FIRE NEEDS TO CONTINUE - MOVE TO FIRECOM<<<.



a.     If you get this message AEMS is not responding and you need to move to FIRECOM



3.     If you arrive and need AEMS, call Dispatch on FIRECOM and we will send them. You will then need to move back to MEDCOM.
