[Dispatch] CAD Maintenance

During our last CAD update a few weeks ago we ran into a few issues that impacted several CAD services. You may recall we had several days where VisiNet browser was on & off line. Mobile was also impacted. CAD IT had to implement a temporary work around to get several services working again.

On Monday, October 15th starting at 1000 CAD IT will be working with TriTech to restore all of the server connections as they were before the upgrade. This will impact the following services:


*         Operational effects will include outages of VisiNet Browser Messaging, Driving Directions, Recall, Remote Rostering, Remote Call Entry, and potentially some core VisiNet Browser functionality other than messaging. At the end of this work we will coordinate restarts of the Mobile servers for each agency.

We do not expect Production CAD or Locution to be impacted during this maintenance. The maintenance window is scheduled to last for 3 hours.
